WE tv and Wedding Central Add Two Key Members to Development Team

Marjorie Levy Named Vice President, Development;

Megan Lawrence Named Director, Development

NEW YORK, NY – April 8, 2010 – WE tv and Wedding Central announced today that two key members have joined its development team, joining new senior vice president of original productions & development, John Miller. Marjorie Levy has been named vice president of development, reporting to Miller. Megan Lawrence has been named director of development, reporting to Levy. Both appointments are effective immediately and are based in New York City. In addition, Danielle Ostroske has joined the development team as development producer. She was previously a supervising producer, working on the networks’ slate of current productions.

Levy and Lawrence will oversee the development of original series and specials for the networks. Theresa Patiri, vice president of production management, operations & administration, will continue to oversee current productions, including business affairs, show and talent contract negotiations, budgets, and international and domestic program sales.

"We’re committed to producing well-told stories that are relevant to a modern woman’s life in a way that resonates emotionally with viewers," said Miller. "Marjorie and Megan bring a wealth of expertise and experience to the networks, which will help us create entertaining, timely programming."

Prior to joining WE tv and Wedding Central, Levy launched her own extreme sports reality TV company, Londonhouse, based in the UK. She and her team produced videos for European networks and created mobile application campaigns to promote Quicksilver and a myriad of ski brands throughout Europe. Following the sale of Londonhouse, Levy worked with film and television studios to convert their video libraries into digital media, enabling producers to capture their syndication potential online. She also negotiated deals to distribute this converted media through retailers like iTunes, XBox and Netflix.

Prior to that, she served as vice president of comedy development for Warner Bros. Studios, developing and working on the hit shows "Friends," "Norm," "Jesse," "The Wayans Brothers" and the animated series "The Oblongs" for broadcast networks, and George Clooney’s "Kilroy" with Pamela Anderson for HBO. Levy was also part of the team that helped launch MTV’s original programming unit as director of original programming. Earlier in her career, Levy worked at HBO as manager of comedy development working on such shows as "The Larry Sanders Show" and "Everybody Loves Raymond."

Prior to joining WE tv and Wedding Central, Lawrence was a creative executive at The Weinstein Company where she closely managed the hit show "Project Runway" and the critically acclaimed, Peabody-winning HBO series, "The No. 1 Ladies’ Detective Agency." Previously, she was part of the casting teams for shows ranging from "Extreme Makeover" and "The Biggest Loser" to "Beauty and the Geek" and "For Love or Money."
