WE: Women's Entertainment to Serve as Exclusive National Media Sponsor of Olympus Fashion Week, February 4-11 in New York City

Initiative Raises Network's Profile in Fashion Community and Highlights Original Programming

New York, NY, February 2, 2005 – WE: Women's Entertainment announced today that the network will serve as the exclusive national media sponsor of Olympus Fashion Week, February 4-11 in New York City. The sponsorship aligns the network with the fashion community and helps keep viewers on the cusp of fashion and entertainment, an intersection that is celebrated by WE on its weekly original series "Full Frontal Fashion." During the week, WE will has also sponsor designer Zac Posen's fashion show and after party on Thursday, February 10. WE previously sponsored Fashion Week in September 2004.

These Fashion Week events come in conjunction with the February 10th premiere of "Carmen Electra Under the Tents A Full Frontal Fashion Special" – a one-hour episode featuring guest hosts Carmen Electra and celebrity stylist Philip Bloch from the Betsey Johnson fashion show. The pair will attend the Betsey Johnson fashion show and report on the designer's latest runway styles and this season's must-have looks. In addition, show correspondents Lloyd Boston, Callie Stydahar and Christina Ha will host special segments for the network throughout the week, focusing on a variety of topics, including: celebrity attendees and their placement at the shows; runway models; and hot trends of the week, among others.

"WE's sponsorship of Fashion Week is a result of the network's commitment to providing our viewers with programming and events that are topical and relevant," stated Kim Martin, General Manager of WE: Women's Entertainment. "Fashion has become a vital part of our culture and being a woman, and it is important that its popularity grows beyond the runways of Paris and Milan to the main streets of our own cities. WE will continue to explore originals like 'Full Frontal Fashion' by offering audiences the top 10 styles for genre-based looks, from office wear to dating couture."

As the exclusive national media sponsor of Olympus Fashion Week, WE will host a specially designed lounge to be located under the tents in Bryant Park. Each day in the lounge, WE will provide visitors with giveaways and raffle prizes, including WE tote bags and nail files; free nail polish changes; a candy bar featuring an assortment of goodies for fashion show attendees; and a nightly cocktail hour with specialty WE drinks and guest bartenders, from 7-8 pm. The guest bartenders include: NHL players Rick DiPietro and Dave Scatchard, on Tuesday, February 8; and USA Today's National Best Selling Author, Carol Alt on Friday, February 11. Earlier that day, Ms. Alt will be on hand to sign copies of her new book, "Eating in the Raw," from 6-7 pm, also in the WE lounge. A major highlight of this initiative is WE's sponsorship of Zac Posen's fashion show, on Thursday, February 10 at 8 pm, and after party.

To support this initiative, WE will place advertising on phone kiosks in the Bryant Park area, on a scaffold that wraps a square area along Sixth Avenue from 38th to 39th streets, and two ad insertions in the magazine that is distributed to Fashion Week attendees daily. WE is also included in all Olympus Fashion Week promotional items, including tickets, banners and advertising.

"Full Frontal Fashion" is WE's weekly Top 10 countdown of the latest and greatest looks the world of fashion has to offer. From swimsuits to wedding gowns, accessories to beauty secrets, and classic looks to sexy styles, host Rebecca Budig takes viewers on a half-hour fashion excursion. Now in its third season, the show highlights the Top 10 fashion trends of: Sexy Hairstyles, Hot vs. Not, Ultimate Wedding Looks, Must Have Shoes, Hot Pants, and many other must-know styles for today's fashion savvy women. The series airs weekly on Friday nights at 10:30 pm ET.
